You need an account to play the community and story features. Keep your sign-in details secure, and give us accurate information — you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

You keep ownership of the character you create and the text you write. By posting it in the game you give us permission to store it and show it inside the app — for example your community profile, status and any clothing you design — so that the features you use work as intended.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, threatening, or that impersonates someone else.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour in Smoke & Sparks. This applies to profiles, social statuses, chat messages, reports and any other place players can write or share content.

Player-written content is screened automatically, and reports from players are reviewed by the app's operator. Content that breaks these terms is removed and the account responsible can be suspended, permanently if needed.

• Report — every player profile has a Report action. Choose a reason, add detail if you want, and send it. Your report is private: the player you report is never told who reported them.
• Block — blocking a player hides them from your Community, removes your connection with them, and stops them reaching you. They are not notified, and you can unblock them at any time from Community.

We review reports and act on those that break these terms, including removing content and banning the account responsible. We aim to review every report within 24 hours.

We may remove content, or suspend or permanently ban an account that breaks these terms — for example for harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam or impersonation. A banned account is removed from Community discovery and can no longer use community features such as blocking, reporting, connecting or chatting.

We may also suspend accounts to protect players, comply with the law, or keep the service running. If you believe a decision was wrong, contact us through the in-app Contact form.

Dialogue, portraits, 3D items and cutscenes are generated by AI models. They are fictional, may be inaccurate or unexpected, and are not advice of any kind. The story, characters and settings are fiction; any resemblance to real people is coincidental.

Premium credits, Career Cash, items and progress exist only inside the game. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. Credit packs are sold through Base44 Payments, and the payment provider's terms also apply to that transaction. Because credits are delivered instantly, purchases are generally final; contact us if something went wrong with a charge.

Do not:

• harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone
• post hateful, sexually explicit, or unlawful content, or content sexualising minors
• spam, advertise, or push other players to other apps or payment services
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to break the app's security
• use the app to break the law, or to infringe someone's rights
• evade a suspension by creating another account

The game itself — its story, characters, artwork, 3D environments, code and name — belongs to its creator. You may not copy or redistribute it, or use it commercially, without permission.

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your progress saved, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and features may change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost virtual items or progress, arising from your use of the app.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections about content ownership, purchases and liability survive the end of your account.

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
